The Board of Directors of San Antonio Mexico Friendship Council (SAMFCO) is pleased to invite you to our 2023 Noche de Amistad® Gala on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Tech Port Center. Proceeds support SAMFCO.
SAMFCO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996 by Ambassador Carlos Manuel Sada Solana, then Consul General of Mexico in San Antonio, and various prominent SA leaders to strengthen and promote the shared cultural ties between the citizens of San Antonio and Mexico. In that spirit, the 2023 Gala will be a festive evening celebrating community leaders who will be recognized by the Mexican Government, while also raising funds for SAMFCO’s programs. In health, Ventanillas de Salud improves access to primary and preventive health services to thousands in Bexar County. In finances, the Ventanilla de Asesoría Financiera provides information to the community that helps them to make appropriate choices in financial matters.
In education, the Ventanilla de Orientación Educativa disseminates educational opportunities to our communities. In addition, SAMFCO strengthens the partnership of the Mexican Consulate and local universities and colleges to provide scholarships to students of Mexican origin.
