Dear Friend of SAMFCO,

The Noche de Amistad Gala is held to celebrate and strengthen the deep ties between San Antonio and Mexico, serving as a key fundraising event for the San Antonio–Mexico Friendship Council (SAMFCO). The gala brings together leaders, dignitaries, and supporters from both sides of the border to:

1. Support SAMFCO’s Mission: The funds raised help SAMFCO continue promoting cultural, educational, and social exchanges between San Antonio and Mexico. This includes providing scholarships to students of Mexican origin, supporting community programs, and collaborating with the Mexican Consulate on education, financial empowerment, health, and culture initiatives.
2. Honor Cultural Heritage: The gala is an opportunity to celebrate and highlight the rich traditions, arts, and cultural contributions of Mexico, while also recognizing individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to fostering U.S.-Mexico relations.
3. Bring Communities Together: By gathering influential figures from government, business, and the arts, the event enhances cross-border collaboration and promotes unity, strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two regions.
